WE just received word of a shut down in Local 300, Montpelier Vermont. According to our information the shut down is beginning right around March 1. Currently there are 40 on Book I and 63 on Book II. They will be looking for 70 workers for the shut down and expect to have refusals from many of those on the books already.
Sign 8:30AM - 3:30 PM at the hall - bring your dues receipt.
We suggest that you call there before taking the drive. With work as slow as it is across the country things change quickly. The number to the hall is (802) 864-5864 - Business Manager Jeff Wimette. Find the address by clicking on Vermont in the Tramp Guide page located in the Traveling Info Box on this site.
